Update ~ 2/3/12 (New Song and Video)

There are a couple of things i want to blog about, that has been going on in the spiritual realm of Linda Rose ~ Spiritsong. A very close friend and kindred sister in Christ (Netty from Wholly Sanctified) wrote words to a song that expressed the depth of pain, suffering and intense spiritual warfare that has been a constant in her's and her husband's life for well over 4 years now. i don't need to go into detail about that here, since i have a link to their blogger on my side bar called, " Struck Down Yet Not Destroyed," (Our Story Continued.) She was praying about her desire for me to get the music to the song and record it as well. Netty e-mailed me the words on Friday (Jan 27th) and the Holy Spirit gave me the music to it the following morning. As i spent the mornings thereafter, during my quiet time getting familiar with the new song, i was getting words to echo at the ending. In fact, i got another verse (2nd echo) that really put it all together yesterday morning. \0/

i had an opportunity to begin recording the song, and only had about 2 hours to get it done. i tried using my 12 string ovation that could be plugged into an amp to boost the guitar. i hit one obstacle after another. : ( There was a loud humming noise coming from the amp, but "I" was determined to get it recorded before my husband and daughter got home. My arm got really stiff and hard like a board from the mistakes of having to record numerous times  just before the end of the song where the echo's would come in. Time flew passed as i was painfully doing another recording with the loud hum from the amp when my daughter charged in the room not knowing i was still recording. UGH! 


Well, THANK YAHWEH that happened, even though i was a bit upset that it didn't go the way "I" intended for it to go.There in lies the problem. It was ME who was trying to get this song done and not the work of the Spirit. i pushed all the recording equipment back in our room far enough so we wouldn't trip over it, and told my husband that i can try recording again tomorrow. He planned on taking our daughter out for the day, so that would give me all the time i needed to get the recording done.

Since i was having a hard time recording with my 12 string ovation, because it's been many months since i have used it, this morning i decided to play the six string guild and use a pick to boost the sound. After a few takes, i finally got a recordable track. \0/ 


There is something i forgot to mention about this song with the added echos involved. This was one of the most intense and challenging songs i can ever remember doing. i spent time praying at length for His Body, and for the anointing over this song that would convey the depth of emotion it needed to express what was deep down in Netty's heart. When the song was complete, i got to share it with her. It more then met her expectations. The Lord answered prayer!!! 


i will post the song that we both agreed should be titled, "Though He Slay me," below. But, before i do, there is something else that has been in the works that another sister in Christ, Ruthann, who put  a video together to one of the Spiritsong's called, "Yahshua." i so love and appreciate when the Body of Christ works together using the gifts He has given us to build each other up, and bless His other members. To all He wills to  minister to, encourage and strengthen in our most holy faith. i will put the video up after the song.

This was an e-mail comment i just received from Netty, my dear sister in Christ who wrote the song, "Though You Slay me." i want to pass it on. i love you my kindred sister

Linda Rose asked me if I wanted to share anything as a part of this blog; and I most definitely do.

First, I want to say that I am so blessed at the gift that the Holy Spirit has placed in my precious sister, and second for her obedience in walking in such a manner as to keep that gift pure; especially amidst the snares that have been laid along the way.

Any one who knows me understands how I feel about flattery, so please understand that what I write is sincere and from the very depths of my heart.

I rarely listen to music these days, for the most part; and that includes the abomination that has infiltrated the evangelical Christian community under the banner of the label of “contemporary Christian music.” I find that this music serves nothing more than to entertain and stir the soul by way of emotional manipulation; and I also find this to be a very dangerous veil used by the Enemy to deceive many professing Christians into believing that their “emotional response” to this music has something to do with the moving of the Holy Spirit. There is an old worldly tag line or cliché that says “what goes up, must come down”; and that is the danger of our feeding our emotions verses our inner spirit man. I would encourage everyone reading this blog to visit this link and read Watchman Nee’s book “The Spiritual Man.” (Link address: The Spiritual Man ~ Watchmen Nee) In this book Watchman Nee discuss the importance of our feeding the spirit man and NOT the soul. In his book he states the following:

“In view of this fact, let us remember that God has ordained He will deal with man through his spirit alone and that by mans spirit His counsels are to be realized. If such be the case, how necessary for the spirit of man to continue in constant and living union with God, without for a moment being affected into disobeying divine laws by following the feelings, desires, and ideals of the outward soul.”

“Disregard your feelings and experience. God pronounces your flesh crucified; it therefore has been crucified.”

Read the book! Coming from a history of mental illness (acute depression), I learned long ago that anything that lent itself to the stimulation or manipulation of my emotions was subject to returning me to as severe a low at the end as it did an emotional “high” in the beginning.

The only music I can listen to these days are the old hymns, music from Godly Christian Music and; most often that of God’s little song bird, Linda Rose ~ Spiritsong. Walking through this tremendous fire over the past four years I have found a secret place with God and His songbird which ministers deep into my spirit man. I pray that if you have not listened to Spiritsong that you download and keep this music available for times when you need to have a songbird from Heaven minister into your heart. My IPOD lies by my bed and each night I find that when struggling with that of “taking my thoughts captive” over homelessness and the waxing cold of mens hearts, I plug into that which ministers to my heart grace, hope and love. One of my favorites is “Resurrection Dead.” Oh how I long for the glorious day to fly along my brethren, and my precious songbird to Eternity!

Winds of Change

I have a few more songs I am going to be putting up on my reverberation player along with a few short clips of some spontaneous and humorous stuff that happened throughout mine and JT's recording experience back east. We spent a total of about 12 to 14 hours a day recording. We only had 8 days to get all 37 Spiritsong's recorded because of the time constraints. I don't need to bore you with all the details, but we did take breaks in between meals and a little down time so we wouldn't burn ourselves out.  More than half of the songs we had to do took 2 to 4 or more takes so we could have at least one decent recording of each song.

Between my throbbing fingers and other obstacles, when looking back on it all it was quite hilarious, but not nearly as funny as having to get through it all at the time. If I told you what they all were, you would be rolling on the floor. But from where I was sitting it was a miracle I even got through any song successfully recorded.

The obstacles and long hours did not keep us from doing what we felt Abba wanted us to do with these songs. The fact that me and my family were able to go back east and do this after I was being prepared and led  on a 30 day fast, there could be no denying what He made possible for this to happen. I know mine and JT's expectations were to do more with the songs, but Abba wants to keep it simple and pure. What these recordings did do for me was to bring the vocals to a higher recorded quality that these ears appreciated more than I can say.

Along with these songs that have not yet been heard on the internet, I will be posting the words in between each audio of this updated blog. I was going to do it separately, but I thought it would be best to put them all up for the sake of time.

The first song I will put up is called, Winds of Change.

As I  reflected on the words and where I am presently at on this spiritual journey I was getting visual thought flashbacks of the different people who have been in and out of my life. There are quite a few who have walked along side of me and I them. There were individuals, ministries, forums and various social network groups of Christians I was a part of inside and outside of the church who had their own strong emphasis and agenda of what they held tightly to. I couldn't help but get caught up in their ideals and charismatic approach in getting me to see things their way.
 
So................. where are these people now?..........Winds of change, beloved......................I found that most of these I have been a part of fall into this category that the Holy Spirit recently brought to mind.

James 1:3-10

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. 9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

What I have encountered and discerned after some time from most   I had close "fellowship" with, is that they possessed a double mindedness, instability and a twisted speech (tongue) that could not be easily detected in the beginning because of their bold stand of the Truth they uttered. Such deception cast doubt on my own walk and/or the sincerity of what they professed. This brought much uncertainty, spiritual agitation and a deep unrest in my own soul throughout my spiritual walk. I knew deep down that what I lacked was the pure unadulterated Word, a call for His children to pick up their cross daily, die to self and follow Christ. (Not man, a ministry, calling, social gatherings among "Christians" ad nauseum!).

In due time, by Abba's stern, yet gentle promptings, conviction and the love of the Truth that HE put in my heart to receive, I found there wasn't the wisdom that comes from above at work in those I once had fellowship with,  but rather the wisdom that comes from the earth. (James 3:14-16~ But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.) 

Where does this envy and strife come from? Their own pride and ego that thinks "they" have the full corner on the Truth. This Truth in Christ Jesus we are called to LIVE what we profess to believe. The backbiting, jealousy and  the setting up of ones own kingdom (ministry) in the name of Jesus is apparent in the way I have seen people be treated behind the scenes.(Vicious, cruel, untrusting, vile and evil)
 
How can this being tossed about take place if these ones operating in such a way do not seek His wisdom from above? Could be they have sought for such wisdom, but could not receive it because of their compromise to the full council of Abba in His Word. They  have one foot in the world and one in the kingdom. Therefore desiring such wisdom cannot be obtained. We CANNOT  have our place alongside Abba in Christ who ALONE is to be seated on the throne of our hearts. 


This brings to mind another scripture Abba Father reminded me of in

Ephesians 4:13-15

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all  things, which is the head, even Christ:

This double mindedness, doublespeak and being tossed about by whatever (tailored) doctrine  one chooses to suit or justify their unholy living is going on among the IONS of professed Christians today in and out of the churches. Not truly possessing the faith to uphold to the one, (wisdom from above ~ James 3:17 & 18) while reaching for the other (their carnal desires). This casts deep doubt within these hearts who claim to know Yahweh. They are like the waves of the sea driven by the wind as well as shipwrecking the faith of those around them.


They may have started out going in the right direction of the narrow path, but the secret desires lurking in their souls to  not completely let go of the world, their flesh and inflated ego keeps them from finding Abba's Way through His Son. The Way, (the narrow Way that only FEW find and stay the course) (Receiving and having the love of )Truth and His Life in place of our crucified lives. No matter how hard it becomes, no matter how much we are called to suffer for Christ as you by the Holy Spirit work out your salvation daily with fear and trembling and endure with Him till the end that you might be saved.

Now back to the song and something else Abba showed me about the Wind of change going on among SO MANY professing to know and follow Christ. I was led to 2 Timothy 3

Before you read further, please keep in mind that this scripture is not talking about the world but those who claim to know Him. The Scriptures are for our reproof (the believer and follower of Christ) NOT the world. This is what is presently going on today in epidemic proportion among so many professed followers of Christ. When you read this, it ought to bring you to your knees with profound spiritual soberness as to the state of those who profess to be God's "people" today. If you follow Abba's righteous judgements toward His physical chosen People called Israel, you can see what became of them over and over due to their idolatry, rebellion, disobedience against Yahweh and love for the world. What will become of the sons and daughters of disobedience today is much greater than we can fully comprehend. Again, please do not think such sons/daughters are referring to those who do not seek to be saved or think they are saved which cannot happen unless you endure with Him till the end. That's not my take on how it is to be, but Abba's Word that declares this "Selah" (Pause, meditate and contemplate with all your heart mind and soul )HIS  Word that sets His captives free.

This is VERY SERIOUS! What do you think happened when Abba said, "Linda, I am now bringing you into a final separation. NO MORE rubbing shoulders and keeping fellowship with those who are not walking the narrow path? It hit me so hard  that it brought me to my knees in repentance. I cried out to Abba asking what HE would have me do?

There is NO returning to anything familiar from my past, but pressing (straining) forward to what lies ahead. The UPWARD calling of Christ Jesus. To run the race of endurance patience and sharing in the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ till my last breath. Not the (falling away) upward ascending to something higher in the Name of Jesus that is the very opposite of dwelling in His High and Holy secret place in Spirit and in Truth. These ones who think  they are ascending are in fact descending. They will spiral downward and  fall into the pit of destruction, while leading many who follow these deceivers down that same road to hell, right along with them.

This will give you a feel, taste and picture of the experience JT and I went through recording these songs. There were QUITE a bit more, but that would surely be overkill on my part. When I was listening to them a few days back for the first time in about 2 years, I was laughing so hard my side hurt. I don't expect the same response from you who have braved it out long enough to read this far into the blog, but it's a part of my spiritual journey I wanted to share with those who might be interested.

The grassy knoll between the Broad and Narrow Road

On Sunday when I was alone at home, I had some time to take a hot Epsom salt de-stress bath. Whenever I get the opportunity, I find it is a GOOD time to pray and get more personal with Abba without any distractions. While praying, Spirit gave me a revelation of that place most " Christians"  are straddling between. I envisioned as He was showing me a grassy strip like ditch that paralleled in-between the broad road on the left and the narrow road on the right. It is that place of compromise. Having the one hand, foot and mouth that is near Him on the narrow road, and their other hand, foot and heart that is far from Him on the broad road (the world ie the flesh) leading to destruction. 

He also showed me that the middle ground is the mixture of both hot and cold. What did Yahweh call that, beloved? LUKEWARM! Those walking on this path (grassy knoll) are the very ones Abba said He will SPIT (like a rolled up bolus) out of His mouth! What do you do when you taste something you think would taste good only to find it tastes BAD? You SPIT IT OUT WITH SUCH FORCE to get every bit of it's awful taste from out of your mouth!

What Spirit revealed about those who draw followers by putting themselves up in a position of teaching, deliverance, evangelism, the prophetic or any other self proclaimed ministries, (who are walking along that middle ground) are doing a number of things which makes what they do rather complex, confusing, dangerous and subtle in their attempt to GROOM and disciple their followers who become twice the sons and daughters of hell as they themselves are. 


There is that spiritual part in them reaching out for the narrow road with their right hand, and yet with their left they CANNOT let go of their flesh. They have justified their being entertained by the world and all the things that come with it which ABBA hates and tells us to separate ourselves from, and as they have been sore deceived and convinced it's ok to enjoy, while reaching for the narrow road. 

This is why you find so much flesh battles going on. This is our adversaries main arsenal. To use these ones to either pull those walking the narrow road into the middle where they are and/or pull those from the broad road to their counterfeit Christianity of compromise that mixes light with darkness, hot with cold. The gray is not pleasant at all to look at, but rather depressing. Nor is that mixture of warm and cold something you want to drink to quench your thirst on a very hot humid day or a hot cup of tea, hot chocolate and coffee that warms up your insides. These self proclaimed grassy knoll dwellers who SAY they have been called into  "  the ministry,"  (Take your pick) are themselves very unteachable, unbroken, PROUD, BOASTFUL, INSOLENT, Angry (which they justify by calling such hateful angry actions, righteous indignation.)STIRRING UP STRIFE and Discord among the brethren, gossipers, finger pointers, persecutors who malign, slander, LIE, GANG STALK, game and attack those who have counted the cost of walking the narrow road FEW find leading to Life.

They go after the weak and innocent lambs in hopes to take them under their wing to disciple them into their sinister compromised path leading to hell and eternal separation from Abba Father. They WIN souls from the broad road to this same hellish path they themselves are on. Does it mean those who are on that path cannot repent and go on the narrow road? NO, but they need to REPENT! This strong Word given by Spirit is an exhortation that begs examining my own heart as well as those being caught up in the DRAMA of these middle of the roadsters.

Spirit unveiled something to me a few days ago when He said, PICK YOUR BATTLES! I mused over that and in Spirit during this dialog it was revealed that MOST of the battles we engage in with our brothers and sisters we are called to stand along side of are nothing short of FLESHLY battles. Whether it be with just one or two we talk about who may be misleading, deceiving and so on, or out in the open like (twofacedbook / fakebook) and other socialistic networks where these kind of fleshly battles of for and against RAGE ON!

What He has personally called me to do is PRAY in secret. To go to Abba in that place where I go to get personal with Him about those who are causing such strife, confusion and discord. Not to engage or character assassinate those who we rightfully feel they deserve to be who are hurting and causing those weak in the faith to stumble. By getting caught up in it myself is a big distraction,it becomes very wearisome, a soap opera of the endless ongoing drama that robs me of my Peace I am thus called to seek. Seek peace and pursue it; Let peace rule in your heart; Abba is the author of peace and not confusion; If at possible be at peace with all men..... 

It doesn't mean you agree with these game playing stalkers either. For me it means to take it to ABBA and not one another to flesh it out. When Spirit reveals to me personally who these consistent game players are, especially those who have been given years and many opportunities to repent who come back and do more damage? Then I follow Spirit and stay away from these soulless ones by not getting caught up in their deception. I will obey Spirit over man. I cannot save them, only Spirit can.

LR'S Wobbly Soap Box Rantings

What I am about to post was a comment I WAS SPIRITUALLY MOVED and COMPELLED to write in response to one of Netty's recent blogs called, FACEBOOK FRIENDING FANATICS ANONYMOUS!

When Spirit moves you move with Spirit. If you don't you will be left watching, wondering and in a spiritual drunken stupor. Since Abba called me to a 10 day water fast a few weeks back due to my poor eating habits, pains in my body, lack of energy, etc. There was also a strong desire burning in me to be better equipped and spiritually sharpened with the gift of hearing Abba has given, to rightly discern, getting more alone with Father and being spiritually fit (in His Truth, wisdom and understanding) for the benefit of His Body.

There were some immediate changes that I wouldn't KNOW where to begin. I have blogged about some of those changes, but what I am hearing now is the NEED to pull away from the whole social networking venue. To limit my time from the sinister distractions and trappings of the NET / WEB.  Brother Thomas has been recently blogging and talking about this pulling away more to counteract the intense mind control that goes on. Not to mention some of the other MIND BENDING BS that I sense is getting Much worse, bizarre and surreal as we head more into 2011.

I will also post a link to a short blog from, " In the World Not Of The World"      called, The Counterfeit Pattern. It ties in well with what I am hearing Spirit saying to me more on a personal level.

So on with LR'S Wobbly Soap Box Rantings~

I think a LOT of "  Christians"  out there would do well to copy and paste this on their blogger, wall and/or wherever you have a lot of exposer to others in the various social network settings. (http://besanctified.blogspot.com/2011/02/im-recovering-facebook-friending.html) SO MUCH comes to heart and mind after reading this, Netty. First I want to say with all the surrounding BS, you have quite a sense of humor. LOLOL

There is a verse in one of the Psalms that says, "  with many words sin is not absent."  Well I also believe this applies to the very word, " MANY"  itself. MANY are called, but few are chosen. Broad is the road leading to destruction and MANY there be that follow it, but NARROW is the road leading to life and only FEW find it.

So I would have to conclude that along with the "  mega"  (MANY = millions of) churches, sin surely is not absent! Would you agree? In fact, I find that those who have MANY that surround them or would deem as friends and supporters for whatever purpose, motive or reasoning, sin is knocking hard at the door. (Such as pride, ego, scripture bashing, status, popularity, insecurity, SELF righteousness, and on and on.) 

 WHO TOLD YOU or ME to reach the MANY? Yes, it does say in His Word to go into all the world and preach the gospel, baptizing in the Name of Yahweh, Yeshua and His Spirit and to make disciples of all nations . IS THAT WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON WITH YOU AND I when it comes to facebook or any other socialistic networks? This Word also implies to mobility. Not being in one place when we show others the gospel by our LIFE, ACTIONS and example, not how MANY friends one has that we JUST MIGHT be reaching for " Jesus."

Paul said, "  I become all things to all people that I might win some."   NOT, I have many friends that might hear a Word here and there (the copy and paste gospel) so that I might win some.

AD NAUSIUM!!!

Oh yes, I can't forget this most important MANY that Spirit just reminded me of.

MANY on that day will come to me saying, LORD, LORD, did WE not prophecy in Your Name? Cast out devils, heal the sick and raise the dead in Your Name? What did Yeshua say? DEPART FROM ME FOR I  N  E  V  E  R KNEW YOU! You who PRACTICE lawlessness! You mean all these things we do for Jesus and the MANY we might be touching could bring such a response? WOW!
 
SELAH THESE WORDS LONG AND HARD. It could mean your very soul if you don't GET THIS!

This is what I have been shown about this Word. All these ones who have said, DIDN'T I or WE? DID YOU CATCH THAT? What the MANY did in His Name was done in the flesh and not because HE called  them to do it. That is the sin of lawlessness, SELF! WHEN you truly KNOW HIM, then when HE says go here, do this or do that, WE DO IT! WHEN HE SAYS to pull back and retreat, WE DO IT! Not when brother so and so says, Someone you look up to says, I say or anyone else.

Ok, time for me to get down off my wobbly soap box. UH OH....... CRASH..... OUCH, THAT HURT! So much for that wobbly soapbox! ;) Just a few cuts and bruises when you stretch yourself out to speak Truth, LOL. BUT it's worth it to follow Yeshua and reach for and STRAIN toward the  upward call of Abiding and living with Him in eternity. OH WHAT A GLORIOUS TIME THAT WILL BE!
