Passover and what it means to me

I don't know who Yahweh will bring to this blog, but I pray whoever He leads here will be blessed by what you read coming from an imperfect but willing heart who loves The Almighty Yahweh El Shaddai and His Son Yahshua with all her heart!

This afternoon I had the privilege and opportunity to share with my daughters teacher what Passover has come to mean to me, because she was truly interested in knowing more about it. Below is the e-mail correspondance, and my reply that the Ruach Ha Kodesh ( Holy Spirit) moved me to share with her.

Good Afternoon, Lani! I hope you are ENJOYING your spring break. Daniella and I went to Crescent City for a couple of days to celebrate her birthday together. She just LOVES to shop and go out to eat. : )

Just a heads up. (I will also call to inform them of this as well.) Daniella will be out of school on April 10th, 11th, 14th, and 15th. We are going away for our passover celebration and staying over for the 1st day of Unleavened Bread. I would like to coordinate with you what assignments will need to be done for that time period. I know she will already have Friday April 11th off from school due to parent/teacher conferences.

Thank you and God bless you abundantly!!!

Sounds like you and Daniella had a great "Mother-Daughter" time together! I will be happy to put together an assignment for Daniella while she's gone. Normally for something like this, I like to modify her assignment to reinforce or again a better educational understanding about her experience. I would like to learn a lot more about your Passover celebration too! Will be working on it and have it for her by the 9th or 10th.

That`s a great idea! Would you like it if I had Daniella write about her experience with Passover? It will also help her to pay extra attention to the experience. I APPRECIATE you putting Daniella`s extra assignments for those days she will be out from school. For the rest of that school week Daniella will be bringing in her own lunch that is free from any leavening foods as we will keep till April 21st. The account of the first Passover and seven days of Unleavened Bread is found in Exodus 12. The Passover we observe is Messianic in that Yahshua / Jesus is our ultimate Passover Lamb for the forgiveness and remission of sins for all who would believe on Him. As Yahweh God delivered His people out of the bondage and slavery of Egypt. (Which represented the world system of that day), so has Yahweh`s only begotten Son Yahshua delivered us from the world, sin & idolatry to all who believe on Him and what He did for us on the stake / cross. It has been in the last two years that I have come to see the blessing and importance of keeping Yahweh God`s feasts that have been fulfilled in the Spring feasts (by Yahshua / Jesus ) and yet to be fulfilled in the fall feasts. Since I too and those believing on Him /Yahshua the Messiah (Christ) are now part of the commonwealth of Israel, (Ephesians 2: 12-13) Therefore this has become my inheritance and desire to keep Yahweh`s feasts that are not just for the Jews, but also for the rest of the lost tribes of Israel scattered throughout the world. Do I keep Yahweh`s commands, Torah (written instructions in righteousness found in the first five books of the Bible) in order to be saved? As the Apostle Paul would say in the Epistles, "May it never be! " Yahshua / Jesus alone saves us by His redemptive blood, but The Commandments and Torah I keep to have His Life and blessings while I live, and I also keep it out of my love for Him ( John 15: 9-11 ~ If you keep my Commandments (if you continue to obey my instructions) you will abide (remain) in my love and LIVE on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father`s Commandments and live in His love. )

Forgive me if I got too long winded in my response to you asking to learn more about Passover. I hope what I shared gave you a digest version of Passover and what it means to me and why I joyfully keep it. : )
