It's a time of preparation, repentance, a time of testing, a time of The Holy Spirit's outpouring on those in the faith who will not fear what man can do to us, but rather fear and highly esteem our Abba Father in His Son Yeshua Jesus. It's a time to be His witnesses and laborers to gather the lost, bruised, broken, bound, and in chains so many are shackled and bound by that Yeshua wants to save and set free to gather into His Kingdom. Be Imitators of Yahweh Elohim / Psalm 94:18 & 19

This morning I was led to Ephesians 5.
It starts out saying.... "Become, then, imitators of Yahweh Elohim as beloved children" (to imitate means to follow and do the behavior and actions of)

How are we to imitate our Creator Yahweh Yahshua?
The remainder of chapter 5 tells us.
 
*Walk in Love as Messiah who has and continues to love us

*Put off the misdeeds of the flesh is our sinful nature (uncleanness, immorality, greed, idolatry (put other loves above your love for Yahweh God)lfoolish talking, coarse jesting lying, and the unfruitful deeds of darkness) but rather expose them

*Do not be deceived by empty and meaningless words

*Walk in the Light

*Know and understand what the Will of Yahovah is for you

*Sing and encourage one another with songs of praise

*Give thanks (not for but in whatever circumstance you are in and for every good and perfect gift given to you from above)

*Submit to one another in Love

*Submit to Yahweh Yahshua your husbandman who loved and gave His Life for you

A Dark Night

Psalms 6:6-10

 (vs 6)
"I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears."
The phrase "all the night" can be rendered every night." Somehow David managed to put a good front on during the day. He would get up and bathe his inflamed eyes, comb his hair, brush his beard. He would put on his robes, acknowledge the greetings of his servants, and attempt to eat his breakfast. He would go about his business of the day, hiding the growing proof of his body of the mark of Yahweh God upon him. He would do his best paying attention to the cases being brought before him for adjudication. His closest advisors, however, would notice a strange inattention, a vagueness about the king who was usually so fair and swift in his decisions. He would listen in a desultory way to his advisors on the affairs of state and make a few remarks. Then he would face the entertainment of the evening, pretending to be amused or interested. As soon as decency would permit, he would dismiss the guests and performers and flee to his bedroom, brushing off the services of his slaves. As soon as the door was bolted he would fling himself on his bed, and cry as though his heart would break. "Every night." No wonder he was weary. This was payday for a half an hour of sin.   

 Even though we find ourselves repenting when our sin has been brought out by the Holy Spirit, it doesn't mean we are exempt from the consequences of our sinful actions. Though it becomes an open door for our adversaries to attack our character, we should not find ourselves blaming Yahweh, but rather appeal, entreat and cry out to Him with the deepest groanings and sincerity of heart for however long it takes to let our loving and compassionate Abba Father know that despite the attacks we have opened the doors too, we lay it all on Him and His good Name and character to come to our aide. 

The forces of evil and darkness that continue to abound of late pound with such fury against Yah's beloved children. It is not easy to deal with these daily assaults and display a countenance that cannot be hidden for long to those we see and live with from day to day. We become WEARY from the battle being waged against our souls to stay faithful to our Lord and King when the pressure, persecution and our character is attacked when we try to walk in a Way that is pleasing to Him even though westumble and fall from time to time. It feels like the darkness of night looms in a blanket of despair even in the daylight hours. Should we give up? Should we bolt and run? Because of my dysfunctional upbringing that has led me to make some bad choices when it has come to relationships, it is very hard to stick things out when Yah brings healthier people who love Yahweh God into your life. 

Instead of communicating and throwing myself upon my Yah with groanings for His help and mercy, I have the tendency to want to either hide myself away or run. I know someone out there who may stumble upon my blog can relate to this. I would encourage you as I do myself in Yahweh Elohim, not to HIDE, RUN or GIVE UP the good fight of faith. If we cling to Yah with all our heart, then HE WILL see us through with the strength and help we need to endure these daily life struggle and the testing of our faith. We have the hope of Yahshua resurrecting our mortal bodies if we do all to not shrink back and endure with Him till the end! (Linda Rose)

(vs 7)
"My eyes are consumed because of grief; it waxes cold because of my enemies."
 It was becoming increasingly clear to David that he was fooling nobody. His enemies were beginning to take note. His sleeplessness and sorrow were evident on his face. His eyes Particularly were betraying him. The eyes are the window of the soul; the look of the eye is often a sure indication of the condition within. David was visibly aging before his courtiers. Much more of this kind of anguish and he would be in his grave. That was his sad condition. But almost without warning the emotional pendulum swung. The transition is abrupt, like the flipping of the coin. One moment David was overwhelmed with tragedy, the next he was marching forward with triumph. 

 I have just gone through this very experience in the last few months. After the up and down battle of despair that brings such sadness to struggling with the very desire to live because of emotional and physical boughts of pain, and then after throwing myself upon Yah in searching out His Word with tears, a breakthrough of Light and Hope began to shatter the darkness on the horizon. (vs 8-9)
He had no assurance as yet that his health was going to get better, but he was absolutely confident that his enemies were not going to get the best of him. "Depart from me all you workers of iniquity (lawlessness) for Yah has heard the voice of my weeping. Yahovah has heard my supplication; Yah WILL receive my prayer." Tears are an eloquent argument with Yahweh. Spurgeon called them "liquid prayers." They need no interpreter and carry enormous weight at the throne of grace. David had total peace in his soul, an inner conviction that Yah had heard him.The rainbow (promise) shone upon the downpouring tears. 
 (vs 10)
"Lest all my enemies be ashamed suddenly." David had found his vexation to be a highway back to Yahweh God. His bones had been vexed, (frustrated, experiencing severe problems and turmoil) his soul had been vexed. (There is the example of the spiritual and physical vexation that go hand in hand. Most of the spiritual dilemmas and vexations affect the physical ~ LR) What had been good medicine for himself he now prescribed for His foes.

 Well might we sing with Moore and Hastings:  
joy of the desolate 
Light of the straying 
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure 
Here speaks the Comforter 
Tenderly saying 
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal



 

Separation

( * This is a blog i wrote back in February of 2011 that i was led by the Holy Spirit's prompting to re-post. i pray that whoever this is meant to speak and minister to will accomplish what He wants to do in your heart as you seek Abba Father's will for your life.)


Before laying the groundwork of what it means to be separate which is a work the Holy Spirit brings His own into, I need to share a few things first. In the beginning of the week not long after I woke up, I heard Spirit say, " SEPARATION." Whenever I hear Abba's Spirit give me a Word like that or a title of some sort, I know it is either A song getting ready to open up or a Word He wants to deliver and share on my blog. I knew instantly it would be something He wanted me to blog. I was given bits and pieces of what He was showing me as I will now share with you who have ears to hear.


Throughout my spiritual journey I have been called to separation of one kind or another. IN fact it is a process we go through if one is willing and open for this to occur. Like stages or levels of separation. When we are ready for this to happen, it will brings us further and deeper on the Narrow road most avoid and don't want to travel. Why? Because it is a LONELY path, one filled with much suffering, spiritual discipline, persecution, hatred, stalking, DEATH to SELF and SEPARATION from loved ones, friends, church, those who compromise and have gone apostate, etc.

We are called to COME OUT and be separate from the world and apostate Christianity that is INSANELY increasing by the droves ALL around us.


This is the STIGMA to what it means to be separate. On the one hand it would appear to some that to take such a stand you are bordering on legalism. Well, for any of you out there reading this who know ANYTHING about me? You have seen and experienced just how much I HATE and despise legalism and the prevalent religious spirit. True legalism is working out your salvation through your own means and FLESH as a way of keeping to strict laws and a strenuous effort to please God with misguided passion in condemnation to those who do not share in their self righteous enthusiasm. I have found these true to their legalistic nature QUITE OBNOXIOUS!!!

Does that mean we are to abandon living uprightly before the Lord? As Paul would say, " MAY IT NEVER BE!" It is Spirit who works this life of righteous holy living of Abba Father's perfection in us. IF, we are willing to follow the narrow road. In other words, NOT take the easy way out, even if it HURTS and causes your flesh to say OUCH! Our flesh is at ENMITY (vehemently apposes) God. It needs to DIE DAILY and be NAILED to the cross! The easy way is the broad road to destruction that MANY are either presently on or will soon be traveling when times get SO HARD and humanly UNBEARABLE to endure. Only those who HEED the call to this holy sanctified separation from the world, flesh and apostasy will make it to the end of the road Yahweh has tailored for each of us individually.


You see the LAW is man's attempt at pleasing God and the sold out follower of Christ is one who picks up his cross, dies to self and follows Yeshua Jesus on that Narrow path. That's the only path to take leading to eternal Life. There is NO WAY to get around it, over it or under it! You have to go through it and stay the course to the end. When you reach that end? That is when true Salvation occurs.


Matthew 10:22
And ye shall be hated of all men for My Name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.


It is by Abba Father's Spirit that He has given to us as a deposit, a comforter who brings us into ALL Truth and the power to overcome every demonic assault that comes at us from our adversary and his minions in their desperate attempt to get us off this path. His Spirit also gives us the power, strength and endurance to travel this hard road throughout our journey here.

What I find from those who may not understand this call to separation is this. I call it mis-discernment. You have to be careful not to mix the two. Legalism and the narrow road are diametrically opposed to each other and yet many mistake those called on this road a LEGALIST! Once you understand what a true legalist is and what a pure hearted follower of Christ is you cannot make such an assumption or discern wrongly. Now those pseudo carnal Christians out there (APOSTATES!)will be the very ones to slander, revile, persecute and put to death those called to this separation by God.

As the familiar saying goes, "Where the rubber meets the road." This is the moment of Truth I heard the Holy Spirit say to me personally. "I am calling you to a final separation." WOW, that's pretty serious! What does that really mean for me? A LOT! This is what I got from His Word.


Matthew 25:6-10

6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

* This is where I believe this final separation comes in to get ones life in absolute spiritual order and follow closely to the Lord of Hosts. To walk in Spirit and not in our flesh, To watch and pray, To separate ourselves from those who would cause us to compromise, To LISTEN and walk in obedience to the Spirit's will and to walk firmly and earnestly on the narrow road that only a few we meet along the Way travel

8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

* This is the FATE and destiny for those FOOLISH apostates who scorn, laugh and think they can enter into his Kingdom by their ministries, how much scripture they can quote, who they rebuke, call out and chastise, preach another gospel, lie and sow discord and hatred among the brethren. But for those true believers in Christ who are ready the door will in no wise be shut!


Matt 24:45-47:

"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions."

* NOT IN THIS LIFE, but in heaven where neither moth nor rust will destroy.

"But if that wicked servant says to himself, 'My master is delayed,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eats and drinks with the drunken, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the hypocrites; there men will weep and gnash their teeth."

* Such admonition cannot be taken lightly in this LATE hour we find ourselves in.

The Divine Order of Yahweh’s Holy Presence

And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader. And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we inquired not at it in the days of Saul. And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people. So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim. And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it. And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day. And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.


This morning during my prayer time with Abba the Holy Spirit led me to 1 Chronicles 13. When I got to verse 9-12 that you see in bold, I asked Abba about this. Why did you kill Uzza for trying to steady your Ark when the ox stumbled? He then led me to...


Numbers 4:15


And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. 


And then He led me to 1 Chronicles 15

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent. Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it. And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites: Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty: Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty: Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief and his brethren an hundred and thirty: Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred: Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore: Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve. And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab, And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it. For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order. So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel. And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD. And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy. So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah; And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters. So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass; And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth; And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel. And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful. And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark. And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark. So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy. And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams. And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps. And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.


Uzza which means Strength in Hebrew took it upon himself to uphold the symbol of Yahweh’s Holy Presence. Trust NOT in the arms of the flesh. We cannot keep or retain Abba’s Presence by our own strength, self righteousness and our carnal fallen nature. David realized that this first attempt to restore the Ark of the Covenant was out of the flesh. There was NO PREPARATION to bring the Ark to its rightful place. Even though Davids heart was right, what he did was out of impulse. He did not go according the the instructions given to Moses on how to rightfully handle the Ark of the Covenant. This caused a gap (separation ~ sin) which led to (Uzza’s) death. This breach is SIN! The gap that separates us from Yahweh’s Presence and leads to death.  When you are in the flesh it cuts off the full awareness of Yahweh’s Presence from your life which is death. To be in Him and He in us is LIFE, but to be apart from Him is death.


ARK OF THE COVENANT


 names the original container for the Ten Commandments and the central symbol of God's Presence with the people of Israel.


Old Testament The ark of ancient Israel is mysterious in its origins, its meanings, and its ultimate fate. Its many names convey the holy sense of God's Presence. The Hebrew word for ark means simply “box, chest, coffin,” as is indicated by its use for the coffin of Joseph (Genesis 50:26) and for the Temple collection box of King Joash (2 Kings 12:9-10).


The names used for the ark define its meaning by the words which modify it. The word “covenant” in the name defines the ark from its original purpose as a container for the stone tablets upon which the Ten Commandments (sometimes called the “testimony”) were inscribed. Sometimes it is identified rather with the name of Deity, “the ark of God,” or “the ark of the Lord” (Yahweh), or most ornately “the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts (Yahweh Sabaoth) who is enthroned on the cherubim” (1 Samuel 4:4)


SO, what is the example here for those of His People who hunger for Yahweh by counting all things lost that we may know Him? The old testament is an outward example and picture of how this applies to us in the unseen realm today. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of what we cannot see. Thats the walk of the Spirit. There is a Divine order for us today as we see in  1Chronicles 13, Numbers 4:15 and I Chronicles 15


To be aware and maintain the Presence of Yahweh in our life comes through sanctification. In order for the Levites ( who were of the priestly order under the old covenant /  Under the new covenant Christ who is our High Priest after the order of Melchezadek ~ 1 Peter 2:9 ` But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ) to carry the Ark of the Covenant they had to be sanctified along with ALL their brethren. 


So......, what does it mean to be sanctified?


Sanctify ~ kaw-dash' (Hebrew)
A primitive root; to be (causatively make, pronounce or observe as) clean (ceremonially or morally): - appoint, bid, consecrate, dedicate, hallow, (be, keep) holy (-er, place), keep, prepare, proclaim, purify, sanctify (-ied one, self), wholly. (complete)


Sanctify ~ hag-ee-ad'-zo (Greek)
From G40; to make holy, that is, (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate: - hallow, be holy, sanctify.


Here are some scriptures that give us a clue as to how we are to be sanctified


John 17:17


Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

(Thy ~ HIS) Word ~ Logos
Word spoken or written, often with the focus of a content of communication; The Word is the title of Christ emphasizing His own Deity; Communication of what God is and what He is like; doctrine, intent; reason; word spoken


John 17:19


And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.


Eph 5:26


That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,


1Thes 5:23


And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;(completely) and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Heb 13:8 - 15


Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. As you have read, it is by Abba’s Word written and Spoken to us


2 Tim 2:15


Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 


How is it rightly divided? When we ask Abba to reveal His Word to us by His Spirit than HE opens it up to us. It is by the Holy Spirit and not our flesh that rightly divides His Word of Truth in us.


It is CHRIST who sanctifies us as we pick up our cross, deny self and follow HIM.


Abba’s Presence through sanctification is expressed in our praise, worship and giving thanks to Him in all things.


Ephesians 5:18-20


And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

This sanctification also expresses itself through humility, meekness and fear. What seems to be prevalent among Christianity today is the lack of true humility, meekness and the fear of the Lord. Many words that are spoken and taught from His Word and the songs being sung are done in the flesh and by mans own strength. There is very little reverence, fear, awe, meekness and humility coming from the MANY words being spoken and taught along with the spiritual songs being sung. Whether it be in the churches, facebook, myspace, youtube or in your own home it is not just the casual course jesting and irreverence being spoken, but it also includes the idle words of His Word spoken, taught and sung. i believe that is most abominable to Yahweh. That is how we do all in the Name of Yahweh in vain.


Kinda sheds more Light to what it means, "Do not take the Lord your Yahweh's Name in vain." 


Matthew 7:22-28
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? and in Thy Name have cast out devils? and in Thy Name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 


Idle  ~  ar-gos'
From G1 (as a negative particle) and G2041; inactive, that is, unemployed; (by implication) lazy, useless: - barren, idle, slow.


If what we say and do is not done out of reverence, awe, obedience and the deepest respect for Yahweh our Abba Father for His glory and the benefit of His Body to draw near to Abba with our whole heart, then what we are offering are worthless, empty and barren words! Thus the Words and works become works of iniquity and will bring a gap ~ separation (death) for eternity if you don't repent!


I also want to bring up the last part of 1 Chronicles 15 and 2 Samuel 6:16-23


And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps. And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
  
2 Samuel 6:16-23


And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart. And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts. And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house. Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.


When David was bringing in the Ark of the Covenant he was  overjoyed and lost himself in Yahweh as he danced in his ephod of linen in the Presence of Yahweh. This deeply offended Michal who was Sauls daughter. Saul had the anointing of being the king of Israel that the PEOPLE wanted instead of Yahweh being their Head and king, but because of the fear of man and Sauls disobedience to Yahweh God, that anointing was cut off. Michal is the seed of that cutting off, breach and gap from Abba’s Presence.  She saw the promised seed coming through David a man after Yahweh’s own heart who took the place of Saul. The promised seed of Yeshua for all who believe on Him had come from the line of David. Saul represents bondage and David represents those who are free. The Holy Spirit was speaking to me more about Michal. She represents the bound up carnal harlot church of today who despises those who are the free sanctified children of Yahweh in Yeshua through suffering and brokenness. 


What happened to Michal? She was childless till her death. There was no greater shame than for a Jewish woman to not bring forth a child. An heir to her husband. I find it interesting that the word idle in Greek means useless and barren. Those who are of the harlot Christianity will themselves remain barren and cut off if  their remains no true Godly sorrow leading to repentance from dead works and un-sanctified lives before Yahweh who is HOLY and worthy of all our praise.


Search your hearts!  Seek Abba Father God while He may be found and call on ( & cry out to) Him with a sincere, contrite and broken heart while He is still near.


 James 4:8-10

Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. We don't lift ourselves up, but in humility and brokenness when He lifts us up it is Christ others will see.

Do I Have Me a House?

This morning when I had my prayer time with Abba, I was led to read 2 Samuel 7 and 2 Chronicles 6

I will put up these scriptures that spoke to me as I was hearing Abba say, “do I have me a house?” Follow along and we will see how all this unfolds.

2 Samuel 7:5-10;12-14

Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle. In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar? Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.


Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

2 Chronicles 6:7-9; 18-21

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:


Not withstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name. But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

(It is quite the revelation that Solomon would make this declaration. If the heavens could not contain Him how much less a house for Him he was to build? Although this had been revealed he knew it was Yahweh’s will. His people needed something they can see and take hold of which would contain that of Abba’s presence in a tangible way. Unlike His followers today who have the deposit of His Spirit where our daily walk in Christ is one of faith, which is the assurance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of that which is unseen.)

Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee: That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place. Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.

As you have read we see a HOUSE that David wanted to build for Yahweh and yet it was not for him to build but rather his seed and heir Solomon. We see a physical house that was build for Yahweh with His blessings. Much of what we see and read about in the Old Testament are the physical representation and blue print to what He purposed to bring about in Spirit. This was done through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

Matthew 12:5-7

Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Matthew 24:1

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.

Jesus also gave a clue as to how He wanted the temple of Yahweh to be.

Matthew 21:12-13

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them. It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Though this was a physical temple He went into we can see how this applies to our own temple. He had not yet died and risen for that which was physical to be a place not built with hands.

This is the hebrew word for house taken from 2 Chronicles 6

Of uncertain affinity; a dwelling by implication a family; home, house (-hold), temple.

Just by it’s definition we see what Father’s purpose is to have such a house. And who is that house? The very body of Christ of which we are who do His will are a part of. A house, dwelling, home and temple not made by hands is the ultimate intention and eternal purpose for those whom He has called and fore ordained.

Acts 7:47-49

But Solomon built him an house. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

1 Corinthians 3:15-19

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

2 Corinthians 6:15-17

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Ephesians 2:20-22

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

So what can we conclude about what has been interpreted as the “church?”

The English language was first spoken on this planet as a Germanic dialect, known as Old English or Anglo-Saxon, which began to be spoken in northern England some years after the Anglo-Saxon conquest of that island starting in 449 AD. The earliest written Old English, however, did not appear until approximately 800 AD.


If we allow 50 years for the conquest to have its effect on England’s native dwellers, that means sometime around 500 AD, the people in northern England started referring to a building erected for worship as a cirice, later, chirche, and finally, a church.


It is extremely difficult to understand how this word which was not spoken anywhere on earth until 400 years after the New Testament was written and cannot be shown by a single citation to have been a word known to first-century people—how this word could be the definition of a first-century word, yet, that is what thousands of people today believe and teach! Asserting that "church" is not a building, we have teachers who continue to use the word " church," which designated the buildings of the people of northern England!

Premise 1: Most of us teach "we speak where the Scripture speaks and we are silent where the Scripture is silent."

Premise 2: The Scripture speaks the word "assembly, group, gathering." It is silent regarding the word "church."

Conclusion:


Those who teach the word "assembly, group, gathering" are honoring the Scripture’s voice and silence; those who teach the word "church" are rejecting the Scripture’s voice and silence and honoring in its place the voice of the 6th century people of northern England!

Three facts need to be realized:

(1) While the King James Version makes useof the word "church," the New Testament as written in the first century, uses that word nowhere at all on any one of its pages!

(2) Anyone who consults an English dictionary will see that the word "church" has several definitions, all of them different. That means the word is totally inadequate for expressing the nature or essence of a group of Christians who are functioning according to the first-century-pattern of teaching and worship.

(3) Since there are somewhere around twenty words used by Scripture, God must have thereby intended to emphasize the many-faceted nature of a community of Christians instead of restricting that nature by the use of one word; and wouldn’t it be logical to expect that those who are concerned about God’s way of doing things would adopt the same usage?

We believe that the foregoing article has an important message that should be thoughtfully considered by those who wish to develop proper Scriptural concepts. One questionable part of the article, however, is its failure to recognize that many Bible students hold that the word ekklesia is not to be interpreted primarily in terms of its secular and political use by the Greeks. Rather, it is to be seen in light of the LXX or Septuagint (the Greek translation of the OT which was widely used by Jews in the Greco-Roman world), where it referred to Israel, the people of God. Just as the people of God in OT times were called the ekklesia, so the people of God in the first-century (the Christians) were called the ekklesia, or the community, of God.

We agree that since "church" has an ecclesiastical connotation today and fails to precisely reflect the meaning of ekklesia (thereby encouraging questionable concepts of the body of Christ), we might better translate the Greek term with such words as the following: assembly, congregation, company, gathering, group, or community. Notice the following expressions referring to God’s people, all of which use ekklesia in the original:

• " My community" (Matt. 16:18).
• " The assembly of God" (1 Cor. 1:2).
• " The company of the living God" (1 Tim. 3:15).
• " The congregations of Christ" (Rom. 16:16).
• " The assemblies of the saints" (1 Cor. 14:33).
• " The community of the first-born" (Heb. 12:23).

When we use these synonyms in place of "church" we can capture something of the meaning that the New Testament writers were trying to convey. There was nothing of sectarianism or denominationalism here. Other references to the body of Christ show that the New Testament writers freely used expressions that were not sectarian. Notice some of these:

• "the household of the faith" (Gal. 6:10).
• " the household of God" (1 Tim. 3:15; Eph. 2:19).
• " Christ’s body" (1 Cor. 12:27).
• " the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:12).
• " a temple of God" (1 Cor. 3:16).
• " the temple of the living God" (2 Cor. 6:16).
• " a holy temple in the Lord" (Eph. 2:21).
• " a spiritual house" (1 Pet. 2:5).
• " the people of God" (Heb. 4:9; 1 Pet. 2:10). " the brotherhood" (1 Pet. 2:17).

In each case, the term was not mean to be exclusive or sectarian, but simply descriptive of a relationship or position that believers enjoy. Nor were the terms given to officially denominate (give a proper name to) the people of God. The Lord’s body has no exclusive title as religious organizations do. Our Lord’s community is not "denominational" in nature!

Let others use " church" or any other term they wish. Let the " Lutheran Church," the " Catholic Church," the " Methodist Church," the " Presbyterian Church," and the " Pentecostal Church" use the term. Let the " Baptist Churches" and others employ it. But let us seek to be as Scriptural as possible and convey truth even in what we call ourselves!

So, what house are you? Do you connect your very temple in which Abba alone is to reside to that of a building ie a church? I don’t read anywhere in the new testament about the importance of a building or specific place where His people were called together to worship. What constitutes an assembly or gathering is this.

Romans 12:4


“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:”

1Corinthians 12:12


" For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”


1Corinthians 12:13


“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

Matthew 18:19-21

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them

There may have been places where the first century believers gathered, but I don’t read it as being a particular place of worship. IN fact when they got too comfortable in one place Abba allowed persecution to arise which scattered His people for His Word to be spread throughout the regions and places where they were scattered. What I do read are those of His people who gathered together in each others homes, broke bread and shared all things in common.

No title or name just His Body who meet in so in so’s house in Corinth, Ephesus, Galatia, etc.

Romans 16:4-6 (King James Version)

Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches (gatherings) of the Gentiles. Likewise greet the church (gathering) that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the first fruits of Achaia unto Christ. Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us.

1 Corinthians 1:10-12

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Colossians 3:15-17

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to that which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

I sure don’t see this being practiced in the “churches,” do you?

Surely not! They are segregated having their own creed, doctrine and beliefs. This was not the spiritual blue print Abba had in mind for His people. Yes, we are called to SEPARATE, but what is that which we are called to separate from?

2 Corinthians 6:16-18

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
