Do Not Grow Weary in Well Doing

 

Beloved, do you feel tired, stretched beyond what you feel you can endure and weary from this daily battle to endure the fiery trials with Him till the end?

Galatians 6:9-10

And LET US NOT GROW WEARY (WANTING TO GIVE UP THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH) IN DOING GOOD (WHAT IS HOLY, PLEASING AND ACCEPTABLE TO HIM), for in due season WE SHALL REAP if we DO NOT LOSE HEART.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

2 Thessalonians 3:13

But as for you, brethren, DO NOT GROW WEARY IN DOING GOOD

The Discipline of God

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, LEST YOU BECOME WEARY AND DISCOURAGED IN YOUR SOULS. YOU HAVE NOT YET RESISTED STRIVING AGAINST SIN. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons (and daughters)

“My son,(and daughter) DO NOT DESPISE (RUN AWAY FROM OR AVOID) THE CHASTENING AND DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD.

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED WHEN YOU ARE REBUKED BY HIM.

(* AND DONT ASK HIM TO TAKE IT AWAY. PRAY THAT HE WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO BEAR UP UNDERNEATH IT!)

FOR WHOM OUR ABBA FATHER LOVES, HE CHASTENS, AND SCOURGES EVERY SON AND DAUGHTER HE RECEIVES!

IF YOU ENDURE CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons;(and daughters) for what son (and daughter) is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons (and daughters).  Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. SHALL WE NOT MUCH MORE READILY BE IN SUBJECTION TO OUR ABBA FATHER OF SPIRITS AND LIVE??? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but HE FOR OUR PROFIT THAT WE MAY BE PARTAKERS OF HIS HOLINESS!

NO CHASTENING SEEMS TO BE JOYFUL OR PLEASANT FOR THE PRESENT, BUT PAINFUL ; NEVERTHELESS, AFTERWARD IT YIELDS THE PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY IT.

Revelation 2:3

and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for MY NAME'S SAKE and HAVE NOT BECOME WEARY
