Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him by Linda Rose ~ Spiritsong
When I was praying this morning and asking Abba for a word He gave me Ps 146:1-10. I sat down with my word pad and started typing what Spirit wanted to share with those who read my blogs.
Psa 146:1-10
Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. The LORD shall reign forever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
In all honesty, is it possible to PRAISE YAHWEH, when His own are sore pressed? When suffering great pain physically, mentally, emotionally and deep within ones soul? When our enemies seem to have their foot on our neck and laugh in derision over the pain and suffering they themselves would inflict upon His innocent lambs? IN fact our adversary is counting on us NOT praising our beloved Creator in these most adverse times. Why, because it's so much easier to throw ourselves in the pit of despair. It hurts TOO MUCH to NOT LOOK on our own pain and suffering, rather than look to Yeshua and come to Him with our weary, down trodden and heavy heart who is able to do JUSTLY on our behalf in His time and His Way. For Yahweh executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. It all comes down to our FLESH that seeks to have it's way rather than DIE. The fallen sinful nature in Spirit needs to be crucified DAILY!
The only possible Way one can look up and CRY out to Abba is in dying to you, to me and turn our eyes to Him instead. David is a good example of casting his cares in all honesty to Yahweh. To pour out the woes and plight of his enemies, and yet you will find he turns it around in praise, adoration and worship to Abba Father. There is a verse in scripture that I have held tightly too in such times of great adversity.
Job 13:15
Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own
ways before him.
You mean Yahweh would slay us? This is where our enemies come in. He uses them to bring us to our end. To expose and reveal just how fleshly we are. Just how much we at times compare ourselves by ourselves and look to "godly" men and women to stroke our ego (with their flatteries) or pull us out of a pit He alone can pull us out of. Yes, we DO NEED the encouragement, prayers, comfort and the deep love of His Body during these times. The world will KNOW we are His by our love one for another. BUT only ABBA alone can slay our dreadful disgusting sinful nature in what we are called to suffer. Not all suffering is due to our disobedience or being in the flesh either. Suffering is the Way for the follower of Yeshua.
Matt 7: 13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Yeshua learned obedience to Abba through all He suffered. AS DO WE! We are called to share in the fellowship of His sufferings as well.
I had received some revelation a couple weeks back when I had that heart to heart talk with Abba. While I was praying in earnest for Mike and Netty and for His lambs. He was showing me some things about our enemies that surround us who hate and DESIRE that we fall. It was quite amazing that when I was praying, His responding back was coming through my own mouth. What was shown, spoken and flashed before my eyes was JUDAS! Why Judas? Because he was an enemy of Yeshua. Even though He was CALLED of Yahweh to be one of Yeshua's disciples. THAT'S RIGHT, CALLED OF YAHWEH! An enemy who would betray our Lord with a kiss. You mean Abba calls enemies who would betray us in our lives? YES! For a greater more profound purpose of working His humility, love and the unraveling of His divine Nature in how to deal with such enemies, that is opposite of the way the world deals with it and MANY who profess to be believers in Christ as well!
I know we are called to expose the misdeeds of darkness, but if you look at the example Yeshua laid out for us, it was NOT THE PEOPLE, but rather those who put themselves in a position to be LOOKED UP TO, such as the scribes, saducees and pharasees. That is where the testing the spirits come into to play. Do these leaders, teachers, pod casters, preachers, etc, surpass that of the scribes and pharisees when it comes to righteousness, or do they seek the praise and accolades of man to stroke their ego?
That is the only example I see where Yeshua calls these leaders and such HYPOCRITES, not the multitudes or crowds that surrounded Him. Even JUDAS wasn't exposed to the rest of the disciples. At the very end when Yeshua said there is one here who will betray me, what did the disciples say? IS IT ME, LORD? Even when Yeshua said, he who will dip his bread in My cup is the one, they still didn't get it! WHY? Because it wasn't meant for them to know, as it is not meant for us to know the MANY Judas's that surround us.
He treated Judas no different. He even gave him charge over the money purse. HE KNEW exactly what he was doing with the money and the betrayal that would take place. You talk about LOVING YOUR ENEMIES? There is a prime example that you don't HEAR of, or even read about anywhere. You see Judas was a vessel of dishonor who was used to accomplish Abba's ETERNAL purpose of salvation for whosoever would receive and believe on Yeshua Jesus the Christ! (To Believe = To fully rely, trust, and completely adhere to)
Our very enemies will be used by Yahweh to accomplish His purpose in us who TRULY believe and have that ABIDING love relationship with Abba. Something supernatural happens on the deepest level with His own when our enemies and/or the extreme trials of survival are used to bring about much suffering.
1 Peter 1:6-7
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in
heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
James 1:3-5
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Abba is after a BRIDE without spot, wrinkle and blemish. When we are HIGHLY tested, such fire breathed out through these vessels of dishonor BURN away the vestiges of our rotten flesh, SELF! For those "pseudo Christians" whose mouth are near Him but hearts are far from Him are not BRIDE material, but are themselves vessels of dishonor against His very own as part of our refinement.
For those who do not love Abba more than life itself and love not the brethren deeply from the heart, such enemies will be used to either bring REPENTANCE among some, and who will themselves be EXPOSED through betrayal revealing who these ones really are. This extreme testing will reveal who the True manifest sons and daughters of Yahweh are! the TRUE followers of Christ will in humility rise up and stand therefore enduring with Him till the end! A Judas, ie tares, have been allowed to attach themselves to Abba's chosen few for as long as His own have been working out thier salvation with fear and trembling. They will betray us even unto death thinking they are doing a service to God. What is being stored up for these ones is ABBA'S wrath that will come down on them with GREAT VENGEANCE!
You may be disheartened, discouraged and beatin down with your present suffering, trials and pain which seem to have no end in sight. But, compared to ETERNITY what we are called to endure is but a mere drop in the bucket to the GLORY that will be revealed. NOTHING we are called to endure can compare with what HE has in store for those who love Him and endure with Him till the end. He who seeks to save his life here will lose it for eternity. He who seeks to LOSE HIS LIFE for HIS sake will gain it unto eternal life in Yeshua. Our treasures are NOT HERE, but they are to be stored in heaven where neither moth nor rust will destroy!
2 Cor 4:7-18
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Much Agape Love, Peace, Joy and righteousness in Spirit the revelator of all that is Truth!

God bless you Linda. These are truly are words of encouragment and life to those with ears to hear. I love you! Netty
ReplyDeleteAlways found it encouragning when looking at my own trials and tribulations to think on what Paul said regarding his trials and tribulations. He referred to them as "light affliction". Which of us have even come close to realizing Paul's affliction? We're all clay in the Potter's hands. Thank Abba for making us vessels of mercy instead of vessels of wrath. May we all remain pliable in the Potter's hands. God bless, Mike
count it all for His Glory!
